Strange Paintins' and Silly Sketches

The lighting was pretty bad so my camera kinda messed with the colors a bit, buttttttttt I think you all get the gist. :p

Misc art and Flagler's Ceiling.

Pfffsshhh.. Guess who forgot about their blog. 

Anyway.

Here's a few things from summer and this semester so far. One day I'll have to do some serious scanning/updating, but for now here's a few random doodles and some pictures of Flagler's ceiling.

Some art from summer

Since summer's almost over, here's a few random doodles and speed paintings. I might add a separate post for sketches but whooo knows. Scanning is a real pain now, since my dino-scanner will only work with my dad's dino-laptop. 
Anyways.
Here's a brief description on some of them in order.
Speedpaint at the beach, about 2 hours.  Oils
Another quick landscape, I wanted to practice putting panels into an easily bought frame so there's that. Oils

2 Projects from 3D

:1 Since I transferred and wasn't here to take 3D Design freshman year I was "strongly recommended" (lol) to take it over summer, so here's two projects from 3D at UNF. 

The first group of images is from a project in which we had to create a model home, and the second group of images is a life size figure from packing tape b.b when the figure is placed on a staircase she appears to be falling. Although since gravity is everywhere hopefully it still works allright when sitting on a kneewall \:

We've had 2 other projects but I haven't taken pictures of them yet since I think I want to work on them some more before I call them "officially" done.

I kinda wanted to experiment with text a bit, and I missed doing funny strips.
Anyway, this was pretty quickly drawn out, hah so it's a little sketchy.

Just trying out some new things \:

hah It's interesting trying to make a human expression work on an animal/dinosaur/whatever. This was just a sketch for a design of website mascot. I might post more about it when it's all done, but since this was done really early on in the process I figured I'd post it.  

Oh! And this is my cat Sasha. ---v--- She's huge and has laser eyes. :I

It's FINALLY started to rain here again, so that means there will be some really beautiful cloud formations out there!  >:D

I love the way things look after it rains, the colors seem so much more vibrant.
